Dr. Steven Sabatino has been practicing orthodontics here in the Arrowhead, Phoenix, and Scottsdale areas since 1987. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee for his undergraduate studies and was accepted into Marquette University’s School of Dentistry at the age of 20. Two years into his dental school training, he set his goals on becoming an orthodontist. Upon graduation from Marquette School of Dentistry, he worked part time on the faculty at the dental school and as a family dentist. One year later, he returned to Marquette University to earn a specialty degree in orthodontics.
After completing his Master’s degree and specialty certificate in May of 1987, Dr. Sabatino moved to Phoenix, Arizona. It is here that for over 19 years, he helped build a multi-orthodontist, multi-location practice while attending advanced continuing education courses across the United States.
On April 19, 2006, Dr. Sabatino made the decision to focus his individual orthodontic practice more on one-on-one patient treatment, staff motivation and development, and improved communication with referring doctors. Dr. Sabatino’s 30-plus years of dental experience and his detailed communication with your family dentist will help you achieve your smile potential and ideal jaw function and comfort.
Dr. Sabatino donates to various local charities and supports many local sports and education programs. Most recently he has joined the Arizona Mission of Mercy where dentists from around the Valley come together to provide dental treatment to more than 2000 individuals who cannot access and/or afford dental care.
Dr. Sabatino and his wife Jill have been together since college and their two children, Alissa and Alec, live in Arizona. He is an avid mountain biker and swimmer, enjoys Alaskan fishing with his Dad, and loves entertaining and travel.

Dr. Salim has been interested in the field of dentistry since she was a kid. She grew up working in her parents’ dental office and had some amazing mentors that helped her find her true calling. While in dental school she took her first orthodontics course and from there she knew that she wanted to pursue orthodontics as her specialty. She found that the combination of esthetics, physics, and biology was the perfect fit for her. It was not until she started practicing that she truly realized the impact orthodontics has on an individual’s life. This has only increased her passion for the field.
Her favorite thing about practicing orthodontics is the bond she builds with her patients over the course of their treatment. She loves seeing the change in her patient’s confidence and seeing them smile from ear to ear.
Dr. Salim’s goal is for her patients to enjoy their orthodontic experience and for them to feel comfortable, confident, and educated.
Outside of the office, you can find her spending time with her friends and family! She also loves staying active, some of her favorite activities are walking, running, playing tennis, and pickleball. An interesting fact about her is that she is Persian and speaks fluent Farsi!

Treatment Coordinator/New Patient Coordinator
I’ve been working with Dr. Sabatino since 1987 and have been in the dental field since 1973. I love every part of my job and enjoy positively influencing our patients’ lives by watching their smile transformation. Dr. Sabatino is a brilliant, caring, and ethical man, which is why I have remained loyal to his practice philosophy. He only wants the best for his patients and his passion for teaching has allowed me to continue learning every day.
I am a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and I married my husband, Phil, in 1973. I have two children, Scott, who lives on the Oregon coast, and Lindsay, who lives on the California coast. Phil and I love to travel and enjoy visiting our children several times a year. In my free time, I hike, kayak, and do outside activities. We have two rescue dogs and adore them.
Financial Coordinator
I’ve been the financial coordinator for Dr. Sabatino since 1995. I am proud to be working for one of the finest orthodontic practices with other fun, caring, and professional people. It is so gratifying to provide the ultimate experience and results for our patients. Dr. Sabatino doesn’t compromise to achieve the superior results in orthodontic care. Every day is different and each orthodontic case is special. My job entails providing financial services for the office. I also assist in running the operation of day-to-day functions for patients and staff. We are all like family and care for each other and our patients.
I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Arizona in my early twenties. I am the mother of three and the grandmother of three. My greatest joy is to be with my family. In my free time, I love to hike and read.
Front Office Coordinator/Receptionist
I am a front office coordinator for Dr. Sabatino and I have worked for his practice since 2007. I am here on the phone to answer your questions and get your appointments scheduled. I work on insurance, office operations, check in, and check out of our patients. Dr. Sabatino truly cares about every one of his patients and team members. We have so much fun as a work family!
I am a native of Dickinson, North Dakota and currently live with my daughter Elly and my English bulldog named Marli. We like to travel when we can, go out to eat, watch movies, and go to football and basketball games.
Orthodontic Technician
I have been in the dental field 36 years and began working with Dr. Sabatino in 1995. I take impressions, apply braces, remove braces, change wires, fit splints, and perform all aspects of orthodontic lab work. My favorite part of my job is working with our patients and making them smile. My work is my second family and I love all of them.
I am a native of Phoenix. My family and I are very active. We love to camp, boat, motor cycle ride, and razor ride (four wheeling). I have four kids and five grandkids so far. I also have a lot of animals. I love all sports and regularly do mud runs with my daughter, work out and hike.
Lab Technician
I have worked on this Team since 2007. In my job, I utilize special mechanical dental equipment to help Dr. Sabatino analyze the jaw function and tooth position of every patient so we can effectively demonstrate Dr. Sabatino’s treatment recommendations. As a lab technician, my primary responsibilities include taking molds, as well as creating slip-ons and positioners. The comfortable fit of orthodontic devices remains very important to our team. I enjoy working here because it’s like my second family. We all love and respect each other.
Born in CharIeston, West Virginia, I’m married with two kids; the oldest is going to college in Florida and the second is in high school playing football at Pinnacle. We love camping, traveling, and doing family things together. I enjoy volunteering at the high school for many of their functions. We have one dog as part of our family.
Administrative/Operations Assistant
Born and educated in Wisconsin, I have been learning about the field of orthodontics since I moved to Arizona in 1987. I helped open our office in 2006. I work behind the scenes during the week where I have administrative duties including banking and payroll. I work on our special projects like updating our website, community marketing and social media posts. The best part of my job is seeing the faces of our patients and team during treatment. I also enjoy hosting employee events and team building. I know we have a special work family here when compared to other dental practices. I call them the Dream Dental Team!
I am married to Steve with two kids, Alissa and Alec. Both kids are attending school here in Arizona. In my free time, I paint (my paintings are hanging in our office “gallery”), practice yoga, and play the violin in a community orchestra. I just completed my eighth year volunteering as a docent for our local art museum. I have one rescue dog, Joey, who is my walking partner every morning.
New Patient Coordinator/Orthodontic Technician/Treatment Coordinator
I started working in the dental field in 1995, and between 1998-2000 and from 2012 to the present I worked with Dr. Sabatino and the team. My job entails educating new patients about the importance of a healthy bite/occlusion and the components of a healthy smile that lasts a lifetime. I present Dr. Sabatino’s philosophy in orthodontic care to our patients. I enjoy working with this team because they are loyal, hardworking and a fun group of ladies. Dr. Sabatino’s passion of achieving excellence in our patients’ treatment is an inspiration to me.
I was born in Flagstaff, Arizona and have lived in Texas, Germany, and Canada. I have been living in Phoenix since 1992. My faith, family, and friends are my world. God has blessed me with four beautiful sons whom I love dearly. I enjoy working out, hiking, reading, traveling, swimming, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Orthodontic Technician
A native of Arizona, I started working with Dr. Sabatino and the team in 2012. I started my dental career in this office! My job entails placing, adjusting, and removing braces. I also order braces and supplies for the office. The favorite part of my job is building relationships with our patients. I enjoy watching the little ones grow up and connecting with all of the adults. I enjoy working here because we are a family! Our patients notice how our team is unique.
Orthodontic Technician/Radiographs and Records
I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico but have lived in Arizona most of my life. I started working with Dr. Sabatino and the team in 2013 and have been in the dental field since 1997. My job mostly entails directing the patient molds and radiographs. When I don’t have patients in my chair, I help the Team by performing various duties in clinic as an orthodontic technician. The favorite part of my job is working with the patients. I demonstrate that getting molds is an important part of their diagnosis. I also enjoy seeing the start to finish of treatment and the smile on the patients’ face when they have completed their treatment. I enjoy working with Dr. Sabatino and the Team because it feels like we are a family here. Everyone is nice and helpful.
When I have free time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my three year old grandson. My husband and I enjoy going to Arizona Cardinal games. We take care of a lot of aquarium fish (my grandson’s favorite activity) and we have two king snakes named Sparky and October.
Orthodontic Technician
A native of Arizona, I started working with Dr. Sabatino and team in 2014. My job is to do the wire changes, bend wires, and take direction from Dr. Sabatino so that the patient’s treatment results in perfection! My favorite part of my job is talking to the patients every day and seeing that they are so happy with their results when they get their braces off! I enjoy building relationships with our patients. Dr. Sabatino was my orthodontist when I was a kid so I feel like I grew up with everybody who works here. We all have worked with Dr. Sabatino so long that it feels like one big family!
I’m 24 years old, married with two doggies named Sher and Zeus. My husband and I are expecting our first baby – we are so excited! We enjoy traveling, camping and being with family and friends. Our favorite travel spot is Hawaii, hands down!
